HireVation ("we", "us") is an online service for skills assessments and video interviews, operated by HireVation, Lahore, Pakistan. Contact: support@hirevation.com.
We act in two roles. For your account (sign-up, sign-in, billing, support) we decide how the data is used. For assessment and interview data (a candidate's answers, scores and recordings) the recruiter or company that invited the candidate decides why it is collected, and we process it on their behalf. If you are a candidate and want your assessment data deleted or corrected, you can ask us, and we will pass the request to that recruiter or act on it where we can.

Cookies and similar storage. We store a sign-in token and your display choice (light or dark) in your browser so you stay signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics on our pages at the time of writing.
We rely on your consent (for example for camera recording and marketing emails), on our contract with you or with the recruiter, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure service. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect what we did before.
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
Our providers run servers outside Pakistan, including in the United States. By using HireVation you understand your data is processed there. We choose providers that protect data and we limit what each one receives.
We protect data with encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access limited to people who need it, and short-lived private links for recordings and photos. No online service is perfectly secure. If a breach is likely to harm you, we will tell the affected people and recruiters without undue delay.
You may ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how it is used, receive a copy, or withdraw consent. Email support@hirevation.com from the address on your account. We aim to reply within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first, and we may keep data we must keep by law.
Pakistan does not yet have a single personal data protection law in force. We follow the principles of the proposed Personal Data Protection Bill and apply the laws that do apply, including the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you may have additional rights under local law, and you can contact us to use them. If you are not satisfied, tell us first. You may also complain to the competent authority where you live.
HireVation is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We send account emails (sign-in codes, account ready, first steps, alerts you set up) because they are part of the service. We send tips, news and offers only if you opted in, and every such email lets you unsubscribe.
